What a Day!!

Today we welcomed Victoria Maree Seymour into the world :)

She was born at 10:05am, Thursday 30th September, 2010 @ Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, Virginia, USA. She weighed in at 8lbs 4oz & 19 1/4 inches long. We are both tired but doing well :) We have one very proud and excited Big Sister (who was right all along that it was going to be a girl!!). Also a very happy Dad and Grandpa.
Please have a look at the photos that we have attached and stand by for more in the next few days!!

Still nothing but.....

Had an appointment with the OB today, the ultrasound and Stress Test showed the Baby is doing fine (not going to tell u the estimate on size as I know there are some bets going on and don't want to influence anyone!!!). The plan is that I will go to the hospital tomorrow night (Wednesday night) to start the induction process. The Dr said it's most likely nothing exciting will happen until Thursday, so stay tuned. As soon as we have some news we will post it here and let everyone know :)

Sunday 26th

Still no Baby:(

Had an interesting weekend, watched the AFL Grand Final with some of the other Aussies here in Virginia, and was left feeling a little disappointed that there was no result. Also feeling the pressure now to get this baby delivered before the replay next week!!
Today Ted cooked up a nice Brunch of Bacon and eggs and then we took Dad to the Oceanfront. It has been pretty overcast all day, but it was nice to be a bit cooler for a change. We had lunch on the boardwalk and then Charlotte did some more dancing to the live band that was playing for the Neptune Festival. We had a nice afternoon out and about even took a ride on a bike for a bit (don't worry I made Dad and Ted do most the pedaling), figured that it had to be better than sitting at home for another day waiting............
Fingers crossed the next blog we have a new Bub!!!

More from the Airshow

Dad has arrived!!

Dad is here......but Budd is not!!! We thought it was all happening last Wednesday night, but it eventuated into nothing!!! :(
Dad arrived late on Friday night safe and sound and very tired :) The trip went well, and he didn't have any major delays, so all good. He was kind enough to fill half of his suitcase with Cadbury Chocolate for Charlotte and I, what a good Grandpa :)
After a bit of a sleep in on Saturday we went to the Airshow at the Naval Air Station at Oceana, here in Virginia Beach. We had a ball!! It was a great day, nice and sunny and we saw heaps of different aircraft flying around, including the Blue Angels (for those that don't know the Blue Angels are the US Navy F/A-18 Hornet aerobatic team). It got a bit noisy for Charlotte and she got a bit bored, lucky we took her new "Doctor Kit" (a present from Grandpa). We all went home very tired and a little sun burnt.
Other than the excitement of the airshow we have had a pretty boring week, just waiting, not so patiently for Budd to arrive.
Hope all is well back home in Australia :)

September 14 - 10 days to go......

Well, 10 days to go until I'm due........I wish it would hurry up, I'm over this!!! I never understood how women could say pregnancy is a wonderful thing :)

As you can imagine we have had a pretty quite few weeks, mostly due to the fact that I can't be bothered. Charlotte is very much looking forward to Grandpa arriving on Friday, I am too, I might get a minutes peace before Budd arrives. Ted is convinced that if I haven't had the baby before Dad gets here I will as soon as he does :)

We got Charlotte a new kitchen last weekend as we didn't bring her one from home, we thought she had enough toys, but she is forever wanted to help cook so we thought she would like it (and they are so cheap here!!). Mostly she cooks us Strawberry Soup.........don't ask I have no idea where she got the idea!! I have attached a picture.

Keep watching the blog as we will add photos and details as soon as Budd arrives :)
